Eastern Niagara United Way's Partnership with Labor:
For more than 60 years the United Way and organized labor have been working together to improve the quality of life for everyone in Niagara County. The National Letter Carrier's Food Drive, Worker's Memorial and Union Counselor courses are just a few examples of our accomplishments together.

Impacting Western New York Communities:
We are proud to support the Lockport Family Support Center. This free and confidential service is designed to help all individuals, students, couples and families. Along with the Support Center, the United Way has partnered with the National Football League (NFL). The NFL and United Way hope to inspire millions of NFL fans to get involved in their own communities.

Community Events and Volunteering Opportunities:
Each year the Eastern Niagara United Way hosts school and local events aimed at furthering our community. Make a Difference Day volunteers sell special editions on the Niagara Gazette and Lockport Union Sun & Journal on street corners. One hundred per cent of the proceeds of this event are donated to the United Way. Protect Our Children is an event that helps parents gain access to the multiple child identification and protection programs available in Niagara County.

Leaders in Giving in Eastern Niagara County:
Leaders In Giving is a program that recognizes those individuals who have made the decision to invest in their community through their local United Way. They believe in the United Way mission and understand results that impact the quality of life in our community. They are community leaders who know how very important the agencies funded by their gifts are to the infrastructure of their county. They know that the United Way funds programs that are run by agencies that operate effectively and efficiently. The Eastern Niagara United Way supports a number of agencies throughout Western New York. These Agencies have services available for men, women and children of all ages and circumstances. Programs are offered for social as well as mental, physical and religious needs.
